About Castle Estates HOA

The Castle Estates Homeowners Association, Inc., (CEHOA) is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas since 1996. Membership is mandatory and each owner automatically becomes a member of the HOA upon acquiring a home in Castle Estates. The HOA is governed by the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (our "Deed Restrictions") and operates according to our By-Laws. Please click the buttons below to download copies of both of these documents.

One of the major responsibilities of the CEHOA is to protect our homeowners' investment and enhance the value of their property through enforcement of our Deed Restrictions. Some of these restrictions include: maintaining a general sense of conformity between main residences and permitted outbuildings (Section 6.1); maintaining lots in a sanitary, healthful, safe and attractive condition at all times (Section 6.16); and preventing permanent or semi-permanent storage of RVs, boats, trailers, inoperable vehicles, etc. either in driveways or in the street (Section 6.9). Pets must be leashed when not confined on the owner's property (this is also a City Ordinance enforceable by City of Santa Fe Animal Control). Homeowners may report violations by e-mailing us at CastleEstates@hotmail.com or through the contact form below.

The CEHOA also provides for the maintenance and operation of the common areas including landscaping and lighting for the community entrance and park areas. This is funded through an annual assessment from the owners of each lot (our "Dues"), which is due by January 31st of each year. The annual dues for 2024 are $173.65. The CEHOA prides itself on keeping our Dues as low as possible.
